Hi, Quilters,
We are approaching fall very quickly and we have quite a number
of inspiring classes waiting for you. Janet van Sant's Quilted Village is a beauty to behold and Sally Malley's Mystery Brunch
is back once again. In this session, we have added Quilt Express,
a series of easy classes in the spirit of “Make It and Take It”. Intended to help you with quick “quiltie” projects just in time for the holidays, these classes take only 1-2 hours each and several
will have kits ready to go.
Fall holiday fabrics are in from Halloween to Christmas in a huge range of fabrics from traditional Aunt Grace Christmas to lively Laurel Burch’s Bountiful Blessings.
Don't forget to visit us at our booth at the Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza XV on September 4-7 at the Harrisburg Farm Show. We will have lots of new, new samples, kits and patterns. Our own Gretchen Gibbons will have “Pennies from Heaven” competing in the show. Kudos to Gina Gempesaw who has her “Jacks All Around” quilt appear on the cover of the October issue of Quilter's World magazine. Gina has also written the pattern for this year's shop hop quilt, “Harvest Baskets”.
Sandy Gillette, our basting expert, has taken a break and we're sad to report that Bobbe Benvin will be facilitating her last Quilt Study Group in September. The program will continue with a new teacher in future sessions. Don't forget to check out the One Block Wonders Encore Trunk Show and DO participate in the Shop Hop. It's one of the best deals around with over 40 prizes up for grabs! See you soon, enjoy autumn!
